  My girlfriend ordered the flank steak with mango salsa and was told it would come out "a tender medium" to quote Brian, our waiter... Her steak came out medium well to well done..I tried a piece of it and it was well marinated and had good flavor, but was on the drier side and as flank steak dries it becomes much more chewy.. The One18 burger was described in the menu as a mix of brisket, short rib and Kobe beef..sounded like it would be an amazing burger, unfortunately my experience with it was anything but...it was so dry it had almost no taste..I had requested a medium cook on the burger and it was beyond well done..it was swamped by the brioche bun and looked pitiful..it has lost so much size from being over cooked that it sat insider the borders of the bun by 1/2 an inch or more..the only explanations I can come up with for how dry this burger was is that it was either cooked much earlier in the day and reheated or it was pressed while it was cooking till all the moisture and flavor left the burger..but it was so dry that I'm going with a reheat of an old burger..the only reasons I'm giving this a second star and not a single is that this was a first visit and maybe they were just on an off day, it happens sometimes and the fact that the mac and cheese that I had with my burger was amazing..I actually used that to mask the burger and took fork fills of that mac with each burger to help get it down
